EP 7: The Quarterly Reset

It’s sad when I encounter most leaders, and they all struggle with either:

  1. Reacting instead of responding to the things life throws at you.
  2. Lost control and no longer steering your own ship.
  3. Off-track when it comes to achieving the goals they set at the beginning of the month, year, or week.

One of the most important things you can do to excel in leadership is to set goals. Some goals require a long-term approach, while others are more immediate. However, no matter what you aim to achieve or how long it may take to achieve it, you’ll never get things done if you don’t track the progress. When you’re working towards a goal, sometimes staying on track all the time will probably be something you struggle with. In fact, it’s probably unrealistic to think you’ll move in a straight line all the way to the finish line.

This is why I believe we all need a quarterly reset so that any time you deviate from the path towards your goal, you can reset before it’s too late to make changes. Tune in as Seth goes through the quarterly reset framework and explains the benefits of focusing on the most important things.
